To permit the Department of Philosophy at Boston University to develop a set of experimental courses from which in the future, a developed program in philosophy and medicine may result. This program will link the interests of the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing and Sargent College of Allied Health Professions in the areas of ethics and philosophy of medicine and health care, as well as providing teaching to students in the College of Liberal Arts.
