The development of sets of color slides on Afro-American Art, each with accompanying lecture notes, to be circulated to schools, libraries, club groups, and TV stations in Alabama, George, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennesee. To enable blacks to identify with artists; to develop respect on the part of whites for black artists; to enhance the climate for artists generally; to relate work in the visual arts to the better known achievement of blacks in music and poetry; to place the work of black artists in the context of American art.
