The University of Maryland and the National Gallery of Art have designed a program to introduce high school teachers to both the subject matter and the techniques of teaching art history. Forty high school teachers selected from across the nation will participate in the Summer Institute, for which they will earn six credits from the University of Maryland upon successful completion of the six week course.
