The National Committee on U.S.-China Relations request continued support over a two-year period for a program to assist secondary school educator to improve instruction about China. Scholarly resources are made available to teachers in two principal ways: 1) a Field Staff Program; and 2) the China Coversations series of half-hour audio-taped with China specialsits, for classroom use and radio boradcast. In addition, a series of eleven half-hour tapes (of which seven feature recent visitors to the People's Republic of China) and a comprehensive guide to curriculum units and audio-visual materials on China have been produced.
