Museum/School Cooperative Program: The Aesthetics of Objects

The program emphasizes sense perception of natural history materials from the Univeristy Museum. Museum presentations are coordinated with the curriculum at the teachers request; Indian craft and culture is the most popular topic. Objects from the fine Southwest and Plains Indian collections are used in museums or taken into the classroom to be seen, felt, touched and sensed.
