TO develop an experimental history curriculum for two American history classes, one at Oneida Baptist Institute, Oneida, Kentucky, and one at Webster Groves High School, Webster Groves, Missouri. In order to gain a sense of the reality of historical events and to increase their factual knowledge of American history, students will study the history of their families and local communities, using public records, interviews, newspapers, private papers, architecture, etc. The year's activities will end with exchange visits of one week between the classes. A social psychologist will serve as consultant on evaluation.
