To develop a cooperative education project to help teachers teach fundamental concepts about the study of historical artifacts and the importance of cultural institutions through utilization of resources within the Missouri Historical Society's collection. It will help children develop a conceptual understanding of change and of the problems introduced by it, and also develop the mental processes which strengthen the capacity to transfer knowledge to new situations.
