To develop 6th grade curricula for the humanistic study of archaeology based upon case studies of actual investigations in progress. Core materials (cartoon-maps, timecharts, etc.) will orientate in time and space individual study-units presented in facsimile format. Pilot phase will consist of a review of needs, summer institutes for teachers, overviews of field method; participation in prototype teaching materials development.
