To implement an experimental Humanities program "Humanities Through Art” for 600 "gifted" 5th, 6th and 7th grade students. ”Hands-on" experiences and inquiry seminars are planned for groups of 15-20 students for 2 1/2- hours/week for 6-8 weeks. Seminars will study Man and his Symbols, Toys through History, and Aesthetic Appreciation. Curricula and workbooks will be written. Media coverage is planned for, and a sound/slide show will be produced.
