To complete a book on "critical pluralisms". "Critical pluralisms" is the assumption that there can be a plurality of valid critical principals and methods. The book will expound at least three versions of pluralistic answers to critical controversy: R.S. Crane's, Kenneth Burke's, and Roland Barthes' "methodological pluralism." The P.I. will include his own version of "rhetorical pluralism."
