To write a philosophic study of memory. Project deals with such topics as the following: A study of various contentions in the literature of memory as to what the possible objects of memory are; an examination of the alleged distinctions between "True" Memory, "Habit" Memory, and "Occurrent" Memory. P.I. will also examine so called "machine theories of memory" that figure prominently in current psychology and neurophysiology.
