To discuss the language of practical experience from 3 viewpoints: 1) a philosophical point of view from which to see practical experience as a coherent mode of experience; 2) a socratic method to derive the conceptual foundations of proxiology in terms which are meaningful to practitioners; 3) a proof that these concepts are coherently related and a presentation of some of the important consequences for problems in philosophy, politics and social theory.
