To study the works of Imrani, a major Judeo-Persian poet of the 16th century. None of his works have ever been published, though important manuscripts are available in many collections. Projects of this sort serve to "rediscover" writers and literary material virtually unknown to the classical Persian corpus. Much linguistic material, otherwise unknown in Islamic Persia, have become available through the study of Judeo-Persian.
