FAIN: FA-11228-75

To explore the ethnocultural and ideological pattern which has shaped American politics from the Revolutionary period to recent times. The crucial issue in many periods of history has been cultural issues having to do with life styles, modes of education, religious hostilities and similar concerns. This project will relate this theme to politics and will produce a synthesis of other work in this field. The study will be constructed around biographies of major and minor figures with emphasis on their cultural background.
