To study the Colloquy of Montbe'liard which took place in 1586 between Jacob Andreae and Theodore Beza at the Invitation of Frederick, Count of Wurtemberg and Montbe'liard. The Colloquy was called to settle the question of the participation of the Frenc.hrefugees in the Lord's Supper as celebrated in Montbe'liard. The difficulties of Montbe'liard and the theological disputation that ensued were paradigmatic of the problems of the late reformation.
