To write a book on a theory of reason. Grantee's work will express a conception of rationality which will be practical in its approach. The book intends to aid those who confront ethnical questions in daily life. The continuing refinement of such a theory of reason is one of the principal ways in which philosophical study can contribute to the conduct of teaching and research in other disciplines and aid in the formation of enlightened public policy.
