The Impact of European Immigration on Black Americans

To study the impact of European immigration on black Americans. Project will examine why northern industrialists bypassed an indigenous black labor supply in the South in favor of immigrants from similar rural environments. Important contemporary social problems can be traced to this exclusion of blacks from 19th cent, industrialization.
