Culpability, Excuses, and Psychological Impariment

Study will focus on the bearing of psychological impairments on moral culpability. To examine the issue of psychological impairment and culpability from a perspective which does not assume that an agent who "could not have done otherwise" cannot be culpable. Psychological data will be reexamined from this perspective, as will current legal practice and doctrine concerning the legal liability of the psychologically impaired.
