The Theory of Grammatical Relations

To study grammatical relations in a book entitled The Theory of Grammatical Relations in which claims of the notion of grammatical transformation are presented and defended in a systematic and detailed fashion. At the same time a different conception of grammar will be presented in which no sharp distinction between the process of forming a sentence and the process of interpreting it is imposed on the grammars of natural languages. Arguments to support a revision in the theory of grammar will be both empirical and methodological.
