Biography of Elizabeth Robins

To write a biographical and critical study of Elizabeth Robins, an important but little known American woman, who was an actress, a playwright, a novelist, and a feminist. The biography will concentrate as much on social and cultural context as on literary evaluation. PI also intends to edit a volume of 200 letters to Elizabeth Robins from the Parkhursts and other leaders of the women's suffrage campaign.
