To investigate the semantic theory of natural language. Study is intended to develop a fairly comprehensive view of the nature of the propositional information conveyed by sentences and will proceed from the assumption that semantic structure, the information conveyed by language, is closely related to the structure of nonverbal knowledge, if not simply a subpart of it.
