To write Slavery in Muscovy. Book will examine the character of Muscovite slavery (domestic); its history and evolution, and the political cultural and social prerequisite which accompanied it. Conclusions will be reached on the consequences of Muscovite slavery for Russian history; the impact of elite slavery on the political status of those who subsequently rendered governmental, administrative and military service, the influence of ordinary slavery on the development of serfdom, and the consequences of both for human rights in Russia after the abolition of slavery itself
