A Theory of Mind and Consciousness

To work on a theory of mind and consciousness which will result in a book, (l) There will be a study of intentional or mentalistic explanations, both in common understanding and in psychology and related fields, and with the problems of mechanism, content ascription and "mental representation". The second half of the theory will also contain an account of free will, and of weakness of will and self-deception, and a discussion of the implications of theories of the mind for ethics.
