To write a book-length study, tentatively titled, "The Language of Imagination in Shakespearean Comedy," analyzing at least 10 of the comedies, from The Comedy of Errors through The Merry Wives of Windsor. The study will not only give a new insight into Shakespeare's plays, but will also cast some small light on the far more mysterious power of the playwright himself.
