Gnostic Revelation Dialogues

To study all known Gnostic revelation dialogues. Study will use literary analysis to specify the genre behind various compositions and the types of material upon which the authors drew and will develop a typology of the various dialogues. Thus, study seeks to specify the various function played by this characteristic form of Gnostic literature in order to help us understand the conflicts between Gnosticism and the wider religious environment.
