A study of the concept of a "right" which has figured prominently in recent ethical writing: conclusions about matters as diverse as reverse discrimination, abortion, civil disobedience, and censorship, areas which are supported by appeal to premises ascribing rights. An attempt will be made to clarify the logic and language of rights. The matter of how our rights differ and how they interconnect will be studied.
