To complete the research for and to write a first draft of a proposed biography of James Agee which would relate Agee the man to Agee the writer. PI, who knew Agee and is therefore intimately familiar with every aspect of the man and his work, will attempt to ascertain to what extent Agee's writing is autobiographical. PI believes that Agee's genius changed and transcended many factual details.
