Fellow to study constitutional law at Duke University and conduct a critical re-appraisal of church-state separation in the US. ABSTRACT: Critical re-appraisal of church-state separation in US, examining religious and constitutional dimensions of Federal aid in areas where both church and state have mutual concerns (such as education). Suggests new directions which are possible within framework of First Amendment. Fellow also to study constitutional law at Duke University Law School.
