Book titled The Structure of Greek Politics, narrative history of constitutional developments in the Greek states from the time of the composition of the Homeric poems to the time of Plato's dialogues. Shows that the Greeks had an idea of political organization which they continually recreated differently under different circumstances. Fellow hopes to develop outlines of a political theory with which to analyze compact political groups like the Greek state, in which successful governance depended largerly on informal arrangements and face-to-face relations between participants.
