To spend nine months in Albuquerque, New Mexico studying and visiting the Pueblos of New Mexico, to learn about the literature and culture of the Pueblo tribes and to learn at least on Pueblan language. The long range aim of this sutdy is to qualify the researcher as a teacher and translator of Pueblan literary materials.
