To extend a humanistic awareness of Romanian Folk Art, Folk Dance, and historical traditions to American through folk dance education. The plan for this ethnographic undertaking is to live with the people of Romania, film their dance, tape their music, participate in their traditional festivals, visit their museums, interview government and other personnel associated with the culture and art of the country, and study the origins of their dance.
