To prepare a long study dealing with the history and political structure of the Ayyubid principalities of Syria in the period 1193-1260 AD. The study consists of an analysis of the structure of politics among the Ayyubids, and a narrabitve history of the Ayyubids after the death of Saladin in 1193.
