As the existence of a political theatre in America appears to indicate that the American citizen is being observed with greater intensity and interest by the contemporary dramatist who wishes to examine him both as total psychological man and as human citizen in concert with the political movement and social environment, the study will undertake an examination of the concept of the term, "political theatre in America."
