To investigate Messenia's role in the development of Greek ceramics and about Massenia's cultural and economic connections with the rest of the Aegean, especially with Western Greece. To publish a final excavation report which will be the first thorough publication of a Dark Age apsidal building and of Messenian Dark Age pottery.
