To prepare for publication a number of studies in the field of 14th and 15th century Iranian manuscript illustration. While the major focus of the project will be the preparation for publication of a dissertation, Illustrated Manuscripts of Nizami's Khamseh: 1386-1482, other related studies will be pursued. Since the study of Islamic art is a relatively new field, the importance of such a study is obvious.
