To construct a coherent and critical examination of the contemporary theories in ethics and personality in terms of their contributions to a refined conceptualization of human potential, and to suggest how such a conceptualization might affect the formation and execution of public policy. This study contributes to the process of reorienting and revitalizing empirical social science through the humanities.
