Human Nature and Social Conduct

To conduct a seminar on human nature and social conduct. The seminar will investigate three sets of problems: first, the concept of human nature; second, how do various theories or ideas about human nature influence sociologists and social psychologists; and, the third problem then draws on the first two by asking what conditions must be met by any theory of social interaction and social organization if it is to benefit from and be consonant with a formulated notion of human nature.
