Claudel To undertake an intensive reading program in structuralism and study of language in the art criticism of Paul Claudel. To complete a book, the last chapter of which will be an analysis of the language in Claudel's art criticism. Claudel uses language as much for the love of sounds and their effect on the reader as for its usefulness in conveying his theories on art.
