Corning Community College (Corning, NY 14830-3299)

To try to develop a new approach to the examination of personwords in order to develop a more adequate concept of person than is now in use. Will attempt to show that our inadequate concept of person has led to mutually exclusive interpretations of the American ideals of individualism, equality, and excellence, and thus, has led indirectly to various social problems. Study should result in a greater understanding of American values and attitudes.
