To undertake an extensive reading program leading to the development of subject content materials in the area of human right for community college students. Reading will concentrate on the First Amendment freedoms of the American Constitution. Research will also be done on how U.N. decisions can affect international concern for human rights. Materials would be collected into a reader that could be used as a supplemental text both readable and relevant to community college students.
