To examine from the point of view of comparative religion and comparative mythology, the question of man's apparent schizophrenia in the contemporary world. Two conflicting theories--Is the individual man an infinitesimal speck in the continuum of time, or is he the center of all things who continually orders a world in the image of himself? Or is it possible that mankind is on the verge of a new synthesis, a new level of consciousness resulting from the reintegration of his dualistic nature?--will be plumbed in depth.
