State and Nationality: The Relationship Between Nationality Groups and State Unity Within and Among States

To examine the circumstances surrounding the growth of the nationstate and the historical instance of the existence of multi-national states. The status of the constituent nationalities of Austria- Hungary, the United Kingdom, China and Russia will be closely evaluated. The results of this study will be related to the understanding of the United States and to the new nations.
