Toward a Theory of Macro Cultural Tradition

To explore the interdisciplinary notion of cultural historical traditions. The traditions shall be viewed as cross-cutting national boundaries, time periods and cultural spheres, and as the key link between societies and civilizations. Four major Western cultural traditions will be discussed.
