To analyze those mythic contexts in which Homer, Hesoid, the lyric and tragic poets, as molders of the attitudes dispersed throughout Greek culture, resort to a casus Fati in order to examine the degree to which such justifications can he expressed in the language of verifiable experience and the degree to which they are "non-sense" descriptions of a totally transcendent reality.
