To study the pamphlets, sermons, newspaper articles published in the colonies between 1760 - 1776 and establish from these the transformation of colonial political thinking. The relation between Revolutionary political thinking, constitution-making in the states after 1776, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution of 1787 will be reviewed.
