To develop an ethic of self-actualization by investigating the following questions: does self-actualization call for positive commitment to the development of human potential in other people, what restrictions must a society of self-actualizers place on their individual projects of self-fulfillment, how do we discover what these should be, and what contribution can we reasonably expect philosophy and religion as well as empirical and clinical psychology to make.
