To write a book on Literary Women of the English Renaissance. Study will examine the writings of women from the early sixteenth century humanists to the Elizabethan and Jacobean playwrights and poets, the women who were patrons of the arts, and the representations of living women in literature and on public occasions, so as to recreate "a time of splendid, learned, intellectual and powerful women."
