To investigate questions related to the concern of cultural pluralism. some of the topics to be dealt with: 1) do Chicanos have a distinct culture which they value? 2) Can they achieve fair shares of education, well-being and power in this society without having to forego that identity? 2) How much does this identity draw on the existence of Latin America, as imagined or as it exists?
