To complete various technical studies on the Athapaskan languages that have been underway for sometime (Projects include an analytic dictionary of Hupa, a comparative vocabulary study of Hupa and other Athapaskan languages, gramatical sketch of an Athapaskan dialect of Oregon). To produce a practical handbook on the Hupa language and tradtional literature.
