Seminar in American Legal History for Practicing Lawyers

To explore the historic roots of American public policy concerning 1) the structure of governmental power, indlucing aspects of feudalism 2) the allocation of power between government and private decision-makers. The study will concentrate on late 19th and early 20th century with brief consideration given to some 17th century English antecedents of American policy.
